How OptiLight works.
OptiLIGHT is a gentle light based treatment designed to help people with dry eyes caused by meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD). Using patented Optimal Pulse Technology (OPT), it delivers precise intense pulsed light (IPL) to calm inflammation, improve meibomian gland function, and enhance the natural tear film that keeps eyes moist and comfortable. Treatments are quick (about 15 minutes) and typically done in a series of sessions with minimal downtime. Many patients experience reduced dryness, irritation and fluctuating vision as tear quality improves and inflammation decreases. OptiLIGHT is often used alongside other dry eye care options like warm compresses and artificial tears to provide lasting relief and better daily comfort.
