Cancellation Policy — Consumers

1. Your deposit

When you book through FABshaping, you pay a deposit online to secure your appointment. The deposit is part of the treatment price — not an extra fee — and is deducted from the balance you pay at the clinic on the day.

The deposit is worked out from your booking total:

• $50 when your booking total is $500 or less, and
• 10% of your booking total when it is over $500, capped at $100.

Treatments priced on consultation work the same way, using the "from" price shown when you book. Your clinic confirms the final price after the appointment is booked, and your deposit comes off it. Where no "from" price is published, the deposit is $100.

2. Cancelling or rescheduling more than 48 hours ahead

You can cancel or reschedule free of charge any time up to 48 hours before your appointment start time. Your deposit is refunded in full, or carried across to the new time if you reschedule.

You can do this yourself from the booking confirmation email, or from "My bookings" in your FABshaping account.

3. Cancelling, rescheduling or not showing inside 48 hours

If you cancel, reschedule or do not attend (a no-show) less than 48 hours before your appointment start time, your deposit is forfeited as a cancellation fee. That is the only charge — you are never billed the full treatment price for a missed appointment.

Half of that fee is passed on to your clinic to cover the reserved practitioner time.

4. If the clinic cancels

If your clinic cancels or has to move your appointment, your deposit is refunded in full, or carried across to the new time — whichever you prefer. No cancellation fee applies.

5. Refunds

Refunds are returned to the card you paid with. Depending on your bank, it can take up to 10 business days for the funds to appear on your statement.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
