Fees and Charges

1. About this page

This page explains to Clinics the fees and charges that FABshaping apply when a consumer books a treatment through the FABshaping platform.

All prices shown on FABshaping are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies.

2. Booking deposit taken by FABshaping

When a consumer books a treatment through the FABshaping platform, we charge a deposit upfront to secure the appointment for the consumer with a clinic. This is also a cost recovery for FABshaping to provide a Clinic with a new consumer booking.

The deposit fee taken by FABshaping will be as per the following:

  • $50 for treatments or consultations priced $0-$500,
  • 10% of the value of any treatments or consultations priced $501-$1,000 (for example, a $600 treatment, will be mean a $60 deposit is taken by FABshaping), and
  • $100 will be the maximum deposit taken by FABshaping should a treatment price exceed $1,000 or more.

Very Important: The deposit amount taken by FABshaping is based on the treatment price booked by a consumer for a treatment. It is NOT an extra fee but is a cost recovery for FABshaping to provide a Clinic with a new consumer booking. Your clinic must then deduct this deposit amount from any final treatment amount, so the client only pays the remaining balance on the day of treatment. FABshaping keeps this deposit as its booking fee.

3. Paying the balance at the clinic

After deducting the Booking Deposit (refer to Clause 2 above), the remaining treatment fee balance is paid by the consumer at the clinic on the day of their appointment / treatment.

4. Cancelling or rescheduling fees to the clinic

If a consumer cancels or reschedules an appointment booked in your clinic up to 48 hours prior to the start time, it will be free of charge — their deposit is refunded in full by FABshaping.

If a consumer cancels, does not show (ie, no show) or reschedules an appointment booked in your clinic less than 48 hours prior to the start time, a cancellation fee applies to the consumer as follows:

  • $50 if the treatment was priced $0-$500,
  • 10% of the value of any treatments or consultations priced $501-$1,000 (for example, a $600 treatment, will be mean a $60 cancellation fee applies), or
  • $100 will be the maximum cancellation fee that applies to the consumer.

This cancellation, no show or rescheduling fee is taken from the consumer's deposit paid.

Very Important: For bookings which are cancelled, no shows or rescheduled less than 48 hours prior to the start time, 50% of the deposit value taken by FABshaping will be shared back to the clinic.

5. Payment methods and processing fees

The online deposit is processed securely through Stripe, which accepts most major credit and debit cards.

A small payment-processing fee may be deducted to a deposit taken. The exact amount is always shown clearly.

We may update this page from time to time as our fees or partners change. The version published here is always the current one, and the date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
