- Keep the skin clean and avoid touching the treated area unnecessarily. Avoid strenuous exercise, swimming, saunas, steam rooms and excessive heat for at least 24–48 hours. Avoid exfoliants, retinoids and other active skincare until the skin has recovered. Protect the skin from sun exposure and use broad-spectrum sunscreen as advised.
