Fotona LipLase is a non-invasive laser treatment used for lip enhancement and rejuvenation. It stimulates collagen production and improves the appearance of the lips for plumper, fuller and luscious-looking lips. Results can be seen immediately after the first session. Each treatment session is 15 minutes; topical anaesthetics are recommended to be applied before your visit for added treatment comfort. For best results, 6 sessions every 3-4 weeks are recommended. Results can last up to 12 months.

- Clients with a history of herpes simplex (cold sores) may experience a recurrence following LipLase treatment. Your clinician may recommend prophylactic antiviral medication, such as Valtrex, before treatment to avoid an outbreak.

- - Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your lips from direct sun exposure and apply a broad-spectrum SPF lip balm whenever outdoors. - Keep Lips Hydrated: Drink plenty of water and regularly apply a nourishing, hydrating lip balm to support healing and maintain moisture. - Avoid Touching the Area: Refrain from touching, rubbing or picking at your lips to minimise irritation and allow the skin to heal naturally. - Manage Warmth & Swelling: Mild warmth, redness and swelling are normal and usually settle within 24–48 hours. If needed, apply a clean, cool compress for short periods to help soothe the area. - Avoid Irritants: For the first 24–48 hours, avoid spicy foods, very hot drinks, alcohol-based lip products and active skincare products around the lips. - Cold Sores: If you have a history of cold sores, follow your clinician's advice regarding antiviral medication before and after treatment.
